熊开波

   熊开波（1977年—），清华大学博士，师从韩美林，现任中国美术学院手工艺术学院副院长（主持工作）、教授、博士生导师，兼任联合国教科文组织陶瓷学会会员、中国美术家协会陶瓷艺委会副主任、中国工艺美术学会理事，并入选浙江文艺名家培养对象（第二批）。1998年毕业于中国美术学院，2005年获该校硕士学位，2018年获清华大学博士学位，历任浙江理工大学艺术与设计学院教师、特聘教授。

 

Mr. Karl Xiong

 

Xiong Kaibo (b. 1977) holds a Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, where he studied under Professor Han Meilin. He is currently Professor, Doctoral Supervisor, and Acting Dean of the School of Handicrafts at the China Academy of Art. He also serves as a member of the International Academy of Ceramics (UNESCO), Vice Chair of the Ceramic Art Committee of the China Artists Association, and Council Member of the China Arts and Crafts Society. Xiong has been selected as one of the Key Literary and Art Figures of Zhejiang Province (second cohort).

He graduated from the China Academy of Art in 1998, obtained his Master’s degree there in 2005, and received his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2018. His previous appointments include Lecturer and Distinguished Professor at the College of Art and Design, Zhejiang Sci-Tech University.
